Nala is proof that the cat distribution system is real y'all! She rescued herself by walking into someone's apartment one day and plopping right onto the couch. Sadly, the human could not have another animal and reached out to Animal Haven to help find this girl the home she was looking for.
She stayed in foster for a bit so we know a little more about how she would be in a home! Nala is independent but sweet as can be. She was very affectionate with the two dogs in the household and even won over the cranky, older cat they had. Nala's litter box and hygiene habits are perfect. She is happy to play with toys alone or with her foster mom. In Nala's opinion, dinner time is the best time of the day, and she'd never turn down a bite of whatever you're having too.
According to her rescuer, Nala does well with dogs, cats, and larger households but would also be happy as the only animal in a quiet home. Nala is shy about touch and takes a little time to warm up (with plenty of treats!), so she is probably best in a family without young children. If you're interested in a sweet, go-with-the-flow kitty, Nala is your girl.
