Greenie was dumped on a city sidewalk just a few weeks before Christmas. Left in an open carried with a can of food, we can only piece together this poor boy's story. When he arrived, Greenie was unsure of what to make of his situation. He sat unmoving in a corner, his eyes squinting, curled up and unwilling to move. His heart and spirit was broken. After just a few days of gentle pets and reassurance, he slowly began to trust the humans around him and opened up quickly. His purrs would get louder, he'd lean into head scritches, and he'd even knead expectantly for pets. Greenie once belonged to someone, that we're sure of. He's quite overweight and his reserved but friendly disposition is that of a well-seasoned housecat. This big boy needs to lose a few pounds and get a dental (which is included in his adoption fee), but he's already well on his way to feeling better than ever. Greenie just wants a quiet home to spend the rest of his days in, loved and pampered as he should be. Adopt Greenie!
