Avon may not have her sister's chubby cheeks, but this Shar pei mix makes up for it with an extra waggy tail and her teeny tiny ears! Avon and her sister Adele just arrived at Animal Haven and we cannot believe how smushy they are.

Sadly, Avon and Adele had a rough start to life. They were rescued from North Carolina where they were kept in an outdoor crate in someone's front yard. Their previous owner couldn't afford to feed the pups and surrendered them to one of our rescue partners before they hitched a ride up to New York. Despite their past, these girls are your typical puppies, eager to play and ready to learn. As with most puppies, you'll be starting from scratch and they'll be looking to you for guidance on how to be the best pup they can be. Avon is expected to grow to be medium-sized. Adopt Avon!
