My sister and I grew up with all sorts of animals. We come from an animal loving family but we never had a cat before. Life in the city can be pretty lonely and we missed the comfortable company of a pet. As first time cat owners, we read everything we could get our hands on to help Cypress thrive in our home. She surprised us with how friendly and outgoing she is, not the shy image I had of cats. She loves to be petted and cuddled, so sweet and loving. She has brought so much life to our lives, I can’t imagine life without her.
She had injuries when we adopted her, we went back to the shelter’s vet several times to ensure she would make a full recovery. To see her then and now is amazing!
