How does my Forever Friends membership work?

Think of it as the Netflix of giving! After becoming a Forever Friend, your sustaining gift continues in the increment you’ve selected unless you choose to end your membership. The specific form of payment you selected will be automatically billed each month (you can even select the specific day for your donation to be processed). This saves you time, and helps us better plan and sustain our animal rescue work — a win all around!

1. How do I update or make changes to my Forever Friends membership?

  • Visit your personal Donor Portal and follow the instructions to log in.
  • Scroll down the page to find your Recurring Donations.
  • Click the gear wheel on the right-hand sign of your recurring plan.
  • You can change update your credit card number, expiration date, or alternate payment info; change the date on which your donation processes, update the amount of your gift, and more!

2. How do I cancel or pause my Forever Friends membership?

Did you know you can pause your recurring donation for up to 12 months? Simply visit your donor portal, scroll down to “Recurring Donations,” then click the gear wheel on the right-hand side of the recurring plan to visit your settings. While we do not send out monthly receipts when your gift processes, you can download individual receipts and annual tax documents from your donor portal.

Yes! Your donations to Animal Haven are tax-deductible. Animal Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN: 11-6101487.

6. When will I received my Welcome Gift?

We’ll mail your Welcome Gift within 2-4 weeks after starting your new membership. Please make sure you’ve entered your correct shipping address with your donation. The USPS is currently experiencing delays in some areas, which may result in longer than usual shipping times.

7. What if I don’t want to receive the Welcome Gift?
