Learning & Libations

Join us on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 6:00pm at Animal Haven (200 Centre St) for this month’s Learning & Libations, featuring Humane Society International.

Are you interested in learning more about international animal rescue? Come meet Adam Parascandola, Senior Director of Animal Protection and Crisis Response, of Humane Society International (HSI) and learn about life-saving efforts around the globe to address cruelty and large scale disasters. Mr. Parascandola will talk about his work with HSI and highlight some of the recent responses including efforts to close the Asian Meat Market and rescue work in the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian. There will also be a Q&A to learn about this important work.
