Hi!
We adopted Momo (formerly Mortimer) in October 2014 less than 24 hours after seeing his photo on the Animal Haven website. We had been looking for a dog and would often stop by the shelter on weekends to see who was around. My husband is allergic to most dogs, making it even more difficult to find a furry companion.
Momo was a 3 month old puppy when we adopted him and the minute we got home, he crept out of the carrier into his signature “puppy puddle” mode, wagging his tail, convincing us we made the right choice! Within the first few weeks, we could not imagine our lives without this lovable, fun, sweet and smart dog! He’s become a neighborhood fixture with his (no longer) puppy playtime buddies and has taken to his new role as a big brother very easily. We still debate his breed mix, but he is definitely a cuddly teddy bear of a dog.
