Our annual Benefit for the Animals was on May 14th, and it was nothing short of AMAZING! We are in awe of the support that filled the room and we are beyond grateful to have shared it with amazing animal advocates who joined us to show their support for animals in need. Together, this community helped us raise more than $800,000!
Our friend and advocate, Rachel Antonoff, received the Leonard Simon Award for her work to unite creativity with pet adoption — including a NYFW show featuring adoptable Animal Haven dogs. Paramount received our Corporate Responsibility Award for their multi-faceted support of our mission, from hosting The Daily Show's first-ever InDogCision event at Animal Haven to bringing Paramount volunteers to the shelter to help out.
We were honored to have Vladimir Duthiers co-host the night alongside our Executive Director, Tiffany Lacey, and we welcomed dynamic guest presenters including Jefferson White, Susie Essman, and Plasma from Ru Paul's Drag Race.
This was an amazing evening that raised critical funds to make our rescue work and mission possible. We'll see you all next year!
