We adopted this strong willed and adorable little cat a few months after losing our lovely Gaia to a variety of older cat health issues. We were warned that Ida might take some time to adjust as she had very little contact with people due to some health issues – now cured. After three days in hiding – with us still debating names with our 2 sons – Ida emerged and her name became clear. Named for our 2 immigrant grandmothers, Ida is equally determined, sunny and funny. Our only pet to have successfully changed the “no cats on the furniture and no cats in the bed” rules through her strong will, we are enjoying every moment with her. She is a constant, silly delight!
