Ino’s life was turned upside down when his previous owner passed away. Thankfully, neighbors were aware of cats in the home and they were rescued and brought to Animal Haven. Ino was a bit shy at the shelter, and spent nearly 10 months waiting to be adopted. In that time, this sweet boy became a favorite of our cattery staff, who were thrilled when, at long last, he was adopted!
Ino now has a cat brother, Leo, who helped him settle into his new home. His adopter shares, “When we brought Ino home, he was scared and hid all day long. On the second day, he figured out there was another cat on the other side of the door named Leo. We opened a little door gap on the third day and we automatically knew he was not scared of Leo and was stretching his paw out while meowing nonstop for Leo’s attention. We opened the door that same day and the rest is history between them. Ino is Leo’s shadow and wherever Leo goes, Ino will always follow. He’s absolutely not a food driven cat but whenever I am cutting any kind of meat, he will always be sitting in the kitchen floor hoping for me to drop him a piece. We love Ino and we hope he can spend the rest of his life living a happy, healthy and comfortable life with us!”
