Loralei recently graduated from the P.A.W.S. of Purpose Program—and also found herself a HOME!
Loralei is the latest Animal Haven dog to join this transformative NYC Department of Correction program, which places adoptable dogs in a special housing unit on Rikers Island for 9 weeks. While there, she caught the eye of a corrections officer who ended up adopting her, and we couldn’t be happier for this adorable family!
Her family says “She is a family dog, loving, caring. She’s very smart and also a trickster. She loves belly rubs…With people she's great, especially with my kid. She very curious and love to explore the neighborhood. She gets a lot of compliments and loves the attention.”
