Marietta

Marietta is a playful, curious, and very affectionate cat looking for an experienced owner who wants a little spice in their life! She has spent some time in a foster home so we can give you a glimpse of what you can expect: Marietta is a kitten at heart and loves to run around and will play with any toy you give her. She is a cuddle bug and adores sitting on laps, so, of course, she would appreciate an owner that works from home so that there's always a lap available! Marietta is fond of keeping you company, will follow you from room to room, and won't hesitate to give you loving headbutts and kisses. While she enjoys attention and petting, Marietta needs an owner who is respectful of her boundaries. If you've known a calico then you'll know that they lean on the sassy side. She is very expressive and has no problem telling you when she's received enough attention or if you've gone too far. She would be a great fit for an experienced cat owner with an understanding of more nuanced cat behavior, as she can get overstimulated at times. Marietta would do best in a low-traffic, adult-only home as the only pet, so she can be comfortable knowing what to expect around her. Like with most cats, there will be an adjustment period when she first goes home, and she will take a few days to warm up and settle in. Once you get to know her at home, she will steal your heart.
