Beau

Beau came to Animal Haven when his elderly owner needed to move to assisted living and was unable to take him with them. Sadly, this was the home that Beau knew all of his life and coming to the shelter has been a big change for him. Beau is a beautiful cat who prefers minimal interaction but eventually warms up to people over time. While he may never be overly affectionate, he has his own unique charm and enjoys quiet, predictable surroundings. Though he is not overly affectionate, he does look for the comfort of human presence and is playful. Beau does well alone, but also can coexist with other respectful cats. This majestic boy will need a lot of extra love and patience to acclimate to a new space. Only time will heal, but we're sure some extra yummy snacks will help things along. We wouldn't suggest Beau as your first cat, but we think he will be a lovely roommate to the right cat lover. Adopt Beau!
