Mali

Mali is one of 12 rescue cats we welcomed all the way from Qatar! Sadly, animal welfare is lacking in Qatar, and animal abuse often goes unenforced. When a small, volunteer-run rescue reached out to us for help finding homes, we said yes thanks to our Relocation & Relief Fund. We could tell that these cats had found a safe haven with this rescue—they were healthy, friendly, and clearly beloved. After a long flight from Doha, our new arrivals touched down and were carefully loaded for the short drive back to Animal Haven. They are now all settled in and receiving lots of love and attention from our staff and volunteers. Despite their long journey, these resilient cats are already showing us how sweet they are—and we are so grateful that they’re now safe with us. Mali is a gentle and demure girl—a total sweetie!
