Hayes was rescued at a bus terminal, where it's unclear how he had been treated before. He can be a little skittish when first meeting new people, unsure of their intentions with him. But once he knows and trusts you, he is a purring little mush that loves rolling over to show you his belly. It may take a little bit before he feels safe in a new space, so patience will be key to earn his trust and help him settle in.
