Chrissy

Chrissy is a sweet and sensitive girl who was surrendered to Animal Haven after three years in a home. Understandably, the transition has been a difficult one. Shelter life can be overwhelming, and for a while Chrissy kept her guard up, preferring to observe the world from a safe distance. After some time in a foster home, Chrissy showed a completely different side of her personality. Away from the busy shelter environment, she blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and wonderfully quirky companion. While she may need a little time to settle into a new home, once she feels safe, Chrissy’s true personality shines through. Chrissy loves attention—on her own terms, of course. She has no problem letting you know when she’s in the mood for pets and when she’s had her fill. She has a delightfully sassy and goofy personality, and while she may be shy when meeting new people, patience and understanding go a long way with her. Watching her grow comfortable and reveal her playful, affectionate side is incredibly rewarding. She would thrive in a home with an adopter willing to give her the time she needs to adjust and build trust. The version of Chrissy seen in the shelter isn’t the whole story. The real magic happens once she feels at home. For someone willing to give her that chance, Chrissy will reward them with companionship, personality, and plenty of love.
