Chrissy

Chrissy is a sensitive, shy girl, who can take some time to get comfortable around new people. She was surrendered to Animal Haven after 3 years in a home, after her person was sadly unable to continue caring for her. Upon arriving at Animal Haven, we realized that Chrissy would take some time to trust humans again. Sudden movements and loud noises are a bit scary to her, and she prefers a calm, predictable environment where she knows what’s happening, and can feel safe. Though it may take some time to build Chrissy’s trust, her sweet side really shines. She enjoys gentle attention, and has a soft, affectionate nature. She is very observant—one of her favorite activities is people watching out the window! Although she is not reactive toward other cats, she does become easily startled when others are around her. If she does go home to a friend, she’d prefer it to be a calmer companion. Chrissy would do best in a quiet home, with a patient adopter who understands that confidence grows with time.
