Kensington

Kensington is a calm, easygoing cat who has quietly settled into indoor life after spending years being cared for near an abandoned lot. A good samaritan who fed Kensington and his group for years cared for them, but believed they were “too feral” to ever become adoptable. Since arriving at Animal Haven, this group has proven this theory incredibly wrong–they all quite enjoy the luxuries of indoor life, and the affection of humans! Unlike some of the more outgoing cats in his group, Kensington has a mellow, laid-back personality. He enjoys being part of the action without necessarily needing to be the center of it, often content to simply hang out nearby and coexist peacefully with people and other cats. He accepts pets nicely and has a calm presence that makes him an especially comforting companion to spend time around. Kensington is FIV+, which simply means he has a weakened immune system. While the diagnosis can sound intimidating, many FIV+ cats live long, healthy, happy lives and safely coexist with other friendly cats. After years spent outdoors, Kensington is more than ready to trade survival for comfort. He’s looking for a home where he can finally settle in, soak up affection, and be loved the way he’s deserved.
