Oreo

Oreo made her way to Animal Haven as a transfer from Animal Care Centers in Queens, and while a new environment can be a little overwhelming for her at first, she’s quickly showing us what a sweet, easygoing girl she is. Oreo can be shy when meeting someone new but begins to show her curious side once she’s had a chance to observe and sniff! Oreo has a pretty uncomplicated girl who doesn’t ask for much. She just needs a comfortable space, a little patience, and the opportunity to get to know her people at her own pace. She particularly loves people watching and taking cat naps in the sunlight. We think Oreo would make a wonderful companion for a first-time cat owner. She may not immediately run up to greet you, but watching her slowly come out of her shell is part of the reward of getting to know her.
