She’s always prepared to soak up all the affection you’re willing to give— she’ll even roll over to offer you her belly for rubs. Dana is FIV-positive, which sounds scarier than it actually is. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives, especially if kept indoors, and the virus is only transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds. In a calm home environment, many FIV+ cats can even live with other cats without issues.
