Howie

Tiny Howie was found on a street corner on Staten Island alone with a severely injured eye. Luckily, a Good Samaritan scooped him up just in time. He may not have lasted much longer on his own between his infected eye and his vulnerable young age. We rushed Howie to our emergency vet, where they confirmed that the eye could not be saved and took him into surgery. Thankfully, Howie pulled through. He spent some time fighting off the remains of an infection at the site of his eye, as well as an upper respiratory infection, and is now a whole new guy! Howie loves zooming around his foster home, wrestling with his dog roommate, and playing with errant bits of string. Howie is a super social kitten and should adapt well to any home!
