Luna was surrendered to Animal Haven recently and we are still getting to know how this sweet girl ticks. She's jumped around a lot in a short time, so we're hoping to find her a stable situation for her to settle down in. She is such a sweet girl with her people once you've earned her trust, but she's got some quirks you've got to know!
Luna is absolutely adorable, which makes her stranger danger a bit more of a challenge since obviously everyone is going to want to greet this cute little dog! We have been working on her meeting new people with our Training and Rehabilitation team but she'll need to continue this work once she's in a home. She has been doing much better in a very short time, but her future adopters will need to be very mindful about introducing her to new people or people approaching her on the street.
She does warm up to new people pretty quickly with proper introductions in neutral settings, but we definitely suggest a more quiet household with not a lot of foot traffic. If you have friends or family over frequently, Luna might not be the girl for you.
To top it off, there is a chance that she may get protective when it comes to her people or person. She may be best suited for a single person household with no other animals to compete for her attention.
Can't be that cute without having a lot going on right? Come meet Luna at Animal Haven!
