Silver

From full-body hugs to biiiiig lean-ins, Silver the Doberman doles out the affection. And we get it, because she’s been through a lot lately. Silver arrived with her four Doberman mix puppies: Chrome, Bronze, Copper, and Brass. She and her pups came to Animal Haven when their owner was overwhelmed with this accidental litter. Sadly, she and her babies are a reminder of how important it is to spay and neuter your pets. Silver should have spent the last few months enjoying the last of her puppyhood—not raising pups of her own. This entire little family will be spayed or neutered, ending the cycle. Silver’s pups are already weaned and ready to go home, and so is she! This sweet lady is bouncy, curious, and friendly, but will rely on her new family to teach her some basics. (Not everyone will love those full-body hugs!) Silver walks well on leash and is clearly eager to please, so teaching her sit, stay, and everything else should be a fun journey with this intelligent breed.
