Lucille

Lucille has spent the last few weeks nursing and raising her little pups and is finally ready for a very well-deserved break! Rescued from a home with over a dozen dogs and puppies at just a couple of weeks old, the odds were against her little family. Thankfully, momma Lucille had a safe and warm place to raise her pups after arriving at Animal Haven and they all pulled through! Now she and her pups are ready to find families of their very own. We don't know much about her history in the household, but she is a spunky girl who raised her pups with enthusiasm. Yummy snacks and gentle belly rubs paved the way to her trust, as she was understandably a little nervous when initially uprooted from her previous situation with her 2-week-old pups. Over time, she's proven to be an affectionate bouncy girl with a non-stop wagging tail when her human friends come visit! We're giving her a little break before finding out her preferences for other dogs and cats but should know more in the coming weeks. Come visit sweet Lucille at Animal Haven!
