Tiny but mighty Kumo has gone through a couple of his 9 lives in his few months in this world. Born in Antigua, he tragically fell from a second story before he was even 2 months old. It's a miracle he survived the fall, but he didn't get away unscathed. His eye was damaged beyond repair, his jaw misaligned, and he lost a few of his teeth, but he survived.
Kumo made his way to Animal Haven so he could get the treatment he desperately needed to live a full and pain-free life. His eye was surgically removed and he is feeling SO much better. He may need a dental in the future, but his jaw seems to be fine for now.
To further complicate things, Kumo has ringworm, a fungal infection similar to athlete's foot that is contagious to humans and other animals. While totally treatable and easily managed, it's a condition that's often huge deterrent to potential adopters since it does take weeks to fully treat.
We'd love for Kumo to finish his recovery in the comfort of a loving home. If you can look past his little rash and into the eye of this little fighter, we hope you'll give him a home. Adopt Kumo!
