Sophia

Sophia is a regal 10 year-old lady who has absolutely perfected the art of being adored. She is sweet, gentle, and very fond of her human friends, especially when they give her the attention she so happily accepts. She has a calm, confident presence and carries herself with the quiet dignity of a cat who knows exactly what she likes. Sophia has been adopted twice before and, unfortunately, found herself back at Animal Haven when her adopters encountered some ongoing digestive concerns. We’ve been working with her care team to better understand what works best for her, and she is currently experimenting with a special diet. She has been evaluated for common causes of gastrointestinal upset, and keeping a simple diet is an important part of keeping her comfortable. Her future family should be prepared to continue a diet that keeps her comfortable, with Animal Haven happy to provide more information about her care. When it comes to other cats, Sophia is perfectly capable of sharing her space, but she doesn’t particularly seek feline companionship. She’d much rather receive attention from her humans than have another cat competing for her affection. She won’t hold a grudge, though– she simply prefers her personal space and is happy to coexist with respectful roommates. Sophia may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love to give.
