Quarter-Zip

Quarter-Zip is one of the remaining members of the “Sweater Cats,” a group of 12 cats who came to Animal Haven from a hoarding situation. Thanks to lots of care and patience, most of the group has already found homes—and now only a few are still waiting their turn. Quarter- Zip is the definition of a chill guy. He’s calm, easygoing, and playful. He is not the type of cat that demands attention, but he is always happy to accept it. If you stop by to give him some pets, he’ll gladly lean into the moment and enjoy the scratches. He has a relaxed presence that makes him a wonderful match for someone that would like a low-maintenance companion. Quarter-Zip is content to simply share a space with you—whether that’s lounging nearby, keeping you quiet company, or enjoying pets. Although he isn’t the most playful adult cat, he would bat around a toy when he’s feeling bored and energetic. Like many cats, he appreciates having his personal space respected and may prefer not to share it too closely with other cats. He enjoys having friends, but so long as they aren’t overwhelmingly affectionate toward him. With people, he’s consistently sweet and easy to be around.
