Weezie was a wreck when he first arrived at Animal Haven, but looking at him now, you'd never know it. He was found by a volunteer on the streets, clearly needing medical attention. It turned out he had been attacked by another animal, and he had multiple bite wounds all over his body. Unfortunately, this meant he was stuck in quarantine for months. But during those months, he truly transformed into the lively and affectionate cat that Animal Haven's staff and volunteers all know and love today.
Weezie is a funny and curious cat that likely would do well with almost any experience level, but he may be happiest as the only animal in the household. While he's definitely not a fan of other dogs - likely for a valid reason - he could likely coexist with other cats - as long as he still gets his fair share of attention!
He was in foster for a time and was a lovely houseguest. Here's what his foster has to say about him:
"Weezie is a curious bebe. He wants to be in the same room as you, and wonders about what you’re doing there. Weezie does not like closed doors (“What are you doing without me?”). He prefers cuddles to toys, but he loves a good play or zoomie. Weezie’s open to instruction and has adventurous, exploratory, height-oriented inclinations. He’s a polite and forgiving kind of guy. Weezie snores."
Weezie is at Animal Haven, waiting for a new home off the streets and safe from other animals
