In Foster Care
Meet Lily, a resilient young lady who is so grateful to have a chance to find her future home!

Poor Lily was brought to our emergency vet on the brink of death after having ingested rat bait and experiencing severe internal bleeding. Lily received life-saving blood and plasma transfusions, and after a week in the ICU, she made a miraculous recovery. Since then, she's been flourishing in her foster home. This sweet girl has a heart of gold, especially once she's familiar with her humans. While she may be a bit reserved with new faces, she's never shown any aggression; she's a wallflower and simply needs a little time to warm up and build trust. Lily is a quick learner, already mastering commands like sit, lay down, and paw, and is unsurprisingly walking nicely on a leash. Her foster says that Lily is nearly house and crate-trained, making her a breeze to have around. She likes other dogs, is tolerant of cats, and has even been wonderful with a 2-year-old human nephew. Lily is incredibly food-motivated, which is a fantastic asset for training and bonding. Her foster has been working with a trainer who boasts that she has the potential to be someone's perfect dog. With continued socialization around people, Lily will blossom into the perfect companion. She'll be with her current foster until the right family comes along, but we need to get her story out there to find her a home! Could Lily be the missing piece in your life? If you'd like to meet this incredible survivor and give her the love and security she truly deserves please submit an adoption inquiry below. She is in a foster home and not at our shelter so an appointment will be necessary!
