Aria

Aria was rescued from what was likely a backyard breeding situation in Georgia. With multiple other female dogs rescued from the property in various stages of pregnancy, we can only begin to imagine what their lives were like before arriving at Animal Haven. Unaware she was pregnant, Aria had given birth just a couple of days before she was set to be transported to New York. With nowhere else to go, she made the trip with her newborns and thankfully settled right in once she knew she was safe. Aria and her pups have been thriving and we're so happy to announce that they are finally ready for adoption! Aria has been an amazing momma to her pups and is very sweet and gentle despite her past. She can be a little unsure in new situations at first, but warms up quickly and will make a great companion for a family open to taking it a little slow in the beginning of her new chapter. She's a bit on edge when it comes to other dogs, but she just finished weaning her puppies and likely needs a break. Come meet Aria and her pups at Animal Haven!
