Toani is looking for his people, could it be you?
This sweet boy can be shy at times, but still is so eager to please his people. We have been working on building his confidence and has become the goofiest guy when he knows he's in a safe place. He is a little nervous around children (he will try to hide from them) but with some more positive experiences and maybe a few more yummy snacks, we think he might come around. He can still be a little nervous on walks if there's too much going on but he just needs someone patient to help guide him in the right direction.
Bringing an adolescent dog into your home may be a little less work than a young puppy, but still expect to put in some work to build that foundation in a home. He has been getting regular work with our training team to build his basics and confidence, which of course will need to continue once he finds a family of his own.
Toani does great at doggy daycare and in playgroups and loves playing with other dogs and puppies. Come meet Toani at Animal Haven!
