Mavi and her siblings were rescued from a Bronx home with more than a dozen dogs. We took these little ones in, providing them with the warm beds, nourishing food, toys and treats they deserved. Little Mavi was adopted after just a few weeks, and we gotta say…it sounds like she has the most amazing life with her new moms!
“We weren’t sure if we were ready to adopt after losing our beloved English Bulldog, Tyga, just a few months ago. Our hearts were still healing, and the idea of bringing another dog into our lives felt uncertain. But the moment we saw Mavi, it was love at first sight—we just knew she was meant to be ours. She’s been helping us heal ever since, bringing endless love, joy, and laughter into our lives. We renamed her Amalfi after the stunning Amalfi Coast in Italy, where we were married—a name as special as she is.
Amalfi is the ultimate puppy—full of energy, playful jumps, and world-class cuddles. We joke that her mantra is “Play hard, cuddle harder.” She’s learning so much every day, starting professional training soon, and already living her best life exploring parks, visiting breweries, and meeting her six little human cousins and one doggy cousin.
