Cow

Cow and his siblings came to Animal Haven from the Caribbean, where they were likely born on the streets. Luckily, it wasn’t long before Cow stole the hearts of his adopters. They just reached out with an adorable update on all things Cow, now named Panda!

“My now husband Nick and I adopted our sweet pup almost 2 years ago in December of 2022. It was love at first sight when we met him at Animal Haven (at the time he was named Cow for obvious reasons.) We remember it was so hard leaving after our first meeting. We immediately filled out an application and hoped and prayed we would be chosen as his parents. The best news came the next day as we scooped him up and took him to his forever home in Brooklyn. We honored the cute original black and white animal themed name, but chose to call him Panda instead.

To say he has been the joy of our lives, family, and extended family would be an understatement. He's the sweetest boy and loves going on any and all adventures with us from outdoor dining, car rides, the beach, his grandparents backyard on Long Island, and his favorite local stop—Target! He's our best friend and most loyal companion. His Mom even got him a modeling gig with Costco! The joy and laughter he brings plus the memories we continuously make with this sweet boy by our side are unlimited. We truly cannot imagine our lives without him. Panda makes instant friends (both human and canine!) everywhere we go. He's won over our doormen by sitting and shaking their hands whenever we come home. He's ruthless with collecting cheese taxes whenever his Dad is cooking a meal. He loves floor sunbathing and cozying up on the couch which he takes very seriously. Fort Greene Park is his favorite stomping grounds and never meets a stranger there.

Thank you for allowing us to adopt such a precious boy. We are forever changed for the better.”
